I heard the tale of tears,
Of a woman soon to be betrothed,
To a man she believes would care and love for her,
But alas he is one not easily changed,
Even by the greatest mishap of the world,
One he knew was of nobody's fault but his,
One that made him cry his soul out to those who cared.
Yet regret lasts for so long,
For he returns to who he has always been,
Doing what he does best,
Hurting,
Denying love for what it deserves,
So now the cycle of grieve continues,
A forlorn heart in a foreign land,
With only herself to rely on.
They say when the going gets tough,
the tough gets going,
Who knows where to?
A story of sorrow may unfold,
Laced with drops of happiness along her journey,
(at times when she is lucky),
God please bless her soul if You choose not to change him,
For I know how hollow and bleak the inside of her heart could be...
